Guest silk Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 SOME GOOD ADVICE. TO ANYONE READING THIS WHO HAS HAD PROBLEMS WITH THEIR LOCKS, KEYS AND REMOTES. DEALERS DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT THIS SIDE OF THINGS, BUT I KNOW A MAN WHO DOES. AN AUTOLOCKSMITH SOMEONE WHO DEALS EVERY DAY WITH KEYS AND LOCKS. A GOOD AUTO LOCKSMITH HAS ALL THE EQUIPMENT NEEDED TO CUT AND CODE KEYS AND MAKE UP NEW LOCKS TO AN ORIGINAL KEY. SO FOR ALL YOUR SECURITY PROBLEMS GIVE YOUR LOCAL ONE A CALL. Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 ....and another gem pinned to the wall of our local VW servicing dept:If the keys are in the car, make sure you are! Obviously prompted by cases of cars locking themselves with the keys inside, with nobody in the car. (Want to hear the story of the motorway services car park that was informally evacuated?) Quote
